This album reimagines his second solo album, “Balls to Picasso” (1994), with new elements. The song “Tears of the Dragon” is one of the most well-known songs in Dickinson’s solo career and has gained a second music video, directed by Leo Liberti and Antoine de Montremy, filmed in São Paulo, in a deactivated brewery, with the participation of his support band, the House Band From Hell, the Almal orchestra, and the Brazilian dancer Renata Bardazi.

The version of “Tears of the Dragon” on the album “More Balls to Picasso” features more evident orchestral elements and was produced with the collaboration of Brazilian musicians, including guitarists Conrado Pesinato and Adassi Addasi, in addition to arranger and multi-instrumentalist Antonio Teoli. According to Dickinson, the project arose from dissatisfaction with the original album, which he considered not to have been as heavy as he wanted, due to the excessive number of producers involved. The idea of remixing the album in Dolby Atmos allowed him to reuse and fix the material, adding more guitars and arrangements.

The recording of the clip was an experience that Dickinson described as “brilliant madness”. He highlighted the choice of location, an enormous old brewery, and the participation of dancer Renata Bardazi, who added an extra emotional dimension to the video. The production of the clip involved the Almal orchestra and the House Band From Hell, Dickinson’s support band. The album “More Balls to Picasso” is a reinterpretation of the album “Balls to Picasso”, launched in 1994, which now gains a new look with orchestral arrangements more elaborate and a heavier production.

In previous statements, Dickinson explained that the decision to reimagine the album was motivated by dissatisfaction with the original result. With the opportunity to remix the material in Dolby Atmos, he was able to revisit the songs and add elements that he considered necessary to achieve the desired sound. The result is an album that presents a new perspective on the original songs, with a more updated production and a more personal interpretation by Dickinson. The song “Tears of the Dragon” is an example of this new approach, with a clip that reflects the energy and creativity of the production.

The Iron Maiden vocalist, Bruce Dickinson, released a clip for the song “Tears of the Dragon”, recorded in Brazil, which is part of his new album “More Balls to Picasso” (2025).
