The Jamiroquai has built one of the most recognizable catalogs of funk and acid jazz, with hits like “Virtual Insanity”, which turns 30 years old in 2026 and earned a Grammy for the band. The group was founded in 1992 and released its first album, “When You Gonna Learn”, since then, it has released several successful albums, including “Travelling Without Moving”, which became the best-selling funk album in history. The band is known for its unique style and its ability to mix musical genres, creating a sound that is both retro and innovative. The Jamiroquai’s Latin American tour promises to be an unforgettable experience for fans, with career classics alongside new material, all led by the unmistakable Jay Kay. Drummer Derrick McKenzie recently performed on Rolling Stone Sessions with Fernando Rosa, showing the band’s skill and chemistry. The band ended an arena tour with two sold-out nights at the O2 Arena in London in 2025, demonstrating its ability to perform on large stages.
