Case of death in a car accident in Francisco Beltrão, in Paraná, leaves family and friends in shock. Last Saturday, a young couple died in a serious accident in the southwest of Paraná. The vehicle in which Ivan Goehlen, 22, and Lívia Friedrich, 19, were traveling left the road and fell into a ravine. According to witnesses, the driver lost control of the steering wheel after trying to make a quick overtaking maneuver. After the investigation by the firefighters, the bodies of the young people were removed from the car and referred to the Scientific Police of Francisco Beltrão. The couple’s burial is scheduled for this Sunday in Nova Santa Rosa, a city 259 kilometers from the accident site. The mayor of the city declared three days of official mourning.
The causes of the accident have not yet been fully clarified, but the possibility of recklessness on the part of the driver is one of the main hypotheses under investigation. Lívia Friedrich’s family, the daughter of councilor Marcos Aurélio Friedrich, has been supported by the local community. The city hall decreed three days of official mourning in honor of the couple.
